Yvonne Truong


Yvonne was called to the Bar in 2022.
Since coming to the Bar, Yvonne has been briefed (both led and unled) in an array of matters in the NSW Court of Appeal, Federal Court, Supreme Court, Land and Environment Court as well as the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Yvonne accepts briefs in all areas of civil law, with a particular focus on building and construction, commercial law, planning and environment and employment law.
Prior to coming to the Bar, Yvonne practiced as a solicitor in Arnold Bloch Leibler’s corporate and commercial litigation teams. In these roles, she worked on a number of major commercial litigation and commercial transaction matters.
Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts (Germanic Studies) from the University of Sydney. At university, she received several awards and distinguished rankings for academic achievement. She also received the Peteris Ginters Prize for the highest score in the ethics component of the Bar Exam in 2022.
