Paul Blackburn-Hart SC was a solicitor in general practice for eight years before being admitted to the NSW Bar in 1984.  He was appointed Senior Counsel in 2005.  He has had wide experience in most areas of practice.  As counsel, he has practised predominately in trusts, probate, wills and estates, real property, guardianship, commercial cases and equity generally.

Since 2011 he has acted as an Accredited Mediator under the National Mediator Accreditation System on the panels of the NSW Bar Association, the Supreme Court of NSW and the District Court.   He has mediated a large number of disputes and mediation is now the principal area of his practice in complex trusts, probate, wills and estate, property and commercial disputes.
