Lindsay Muir


Lindsay accepts briefs in all areas of law. Lindsay’s current practice comprises commercial disputes, construction disputes, Corporations law, administrative law and crime.
Before coming to the Bar, Lindsay was a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills in its disputes team. She had a commercial litigation practice including class actions, contractual disputes, competition law, administrative and public law and regulatory investigations.
Prior to that, Lindsay was a prosecutor at the Office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions and gained experience in a complex multi-accused Commonwealth criminal prosecution. Lindsay started her legal career at Whittens & McKeough, a boutique law firm in Sydney with a strong commercial litigation practice.
Lindsay holds a Juris Doctor from the University of New South Wales (with Distinction) and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney. Lindsay’s veterinary training and experience has proven useful in cases involving scientific or technical elements.
