Campbell Bridge SC was admitted to the Bar in July 1977 and appointed Senior Counsel in 1998. After over 40 years of practice as an advocate in a wide range of areas involving common law and medical negligence trials, commercial and construction disputes, major inquests, and jury trials (including a jury inquest), public liability and professional indemnity cases, he now acts exclusively as a mediator. As counsel, he appeared in major cases, numerous major inquests and as Counsel Assisting in a Royal Commission.

Over the past 15 years he has acted as a mediator in many hundreds of major disputes in numerous State and Federal jurisdictions in Australia, as well as in international disputes in Singapore, Indonesia, and other parts of Southeast Asia.  

His practice as a mediator has involved mediating a wide range of disputes principally in areas of common law (including industrial and work-related accidents, medical negligence, and public liability matters), commercial disputes (including professional negligence matters), and historical abuse matters.

He has been recognised in the past in Doyle’s Guide over a number of years as a leading arbitration barrister and mediator and in Best Lawyers in Australia in ADR from 2019 – 2026.

He is an Accredited Mediator in Australia and is on international arbitration and mediation panels in Asia.

He presents often at international conferences on negotiation, culture, and mediation of commercial and professional liability disputes in Australia and Asia.
